Celtic's Victor Wanyama open to a move to England

Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama admits he'd be open to a move to England.

"I think the Premier League is the dream of so many players, so I'd be happy to play there. There are a lot of good clubs in England," the Kenyan told the Daily Record.

"I'm proud I'm the first Kenyan to play in the UK and I'd be very happy to be the first Kenyan to play in the Premier League."

The 21-year-old joined Celtic last summer, scoring 4 goals in 29 games. Liverpool, Newcastle, Stoke, West Ham and QPR are all  believed to be interested in the player.

Former Liverpool player Miki Roque loses battle with cancer

Former Liverpool youngster Roque dies at the age of 23

Miki Roque, aged just 23, has died of cancer. He was diagnosed with the disease in March 2011.

The Spanish defender was diagnosed with pelvic cancer just over a year ago after undergoing a routine check-up due to back problems.

He made 1 first-team appearance for Liverpool in a 3-2 win against Galatasary in 2006 (in the Champions League) before being released in 2009. He joined Real Betis where he spent 3 years receiving help from the club and fans.

Bojan dismisses Roma exit reports


Bojan Liverpool linked dismissed

Liverpool who have regularly been linked with a bid for Bojan is aiming to stay at Roma. His father recently claimed that there is interest from England and Germany. However, Bojan expects to stay at Roma claiming next season will be the 'most important' of his career after scoring 7 goals in 33 appearances in Serie A in his debut season since his move from Barcelona last summer.

"I will remain at Roma because I believe it is the best option for me," Krkic said to Corriere dello Sport. "I am very happy and satisfied with my first year in Italy.

"I think next season will be the most important year of my career and I want to do my best in the Italian league."
